Client Relationship Manager

SUMMARY:

Leading service provider in the Safety Equipment Industry seeks a highly efficient, business savvy Client Relations Manager to gain the respect and trust of valued national clients, in order to retain the high level of service expected.

This is purely an office/administrative role.

POSITION INFO:

Communication

• Effective communication between the Group and Group’s members
• Allocation of work to Group Members nationally
• Effective communication with the client ensuring execution of work as per client specifications.
• Ensure information regarding existing clients has been relayed.
• Ensure potential new clients have been presented to the Franchisor.

Follow up on outstanding work

Ensuring continued client communication

• Ensure targets have been communicated monthly to the Group’s Management
• Arrange meetings with clients and The Group’s MD

Quotations.

• All quotes on standard items completed within 48 hours.
• Quotations are the responsibility of the Client Relationship Manager.
• Ensure follow up on all outstanding quotes for work completed.
• Monthly follow up on quotes for work not completed.
• Update quotes on a monthly basis.

Annual services

• Ensure all clients annual services are completed in the due month
• Ensure management is made aware of overdue services.

Projects over and above annual services

• Ensure clients requirements are communicated correctly to Group members
• Ensure clients are updated on the progress of their work.
• Responsible for the quoting and execution of the work within the parameters of the project.

Completed project

• Ensure client is satisfied with the finished project
• All signed and necessary paperwork is returned to Head Office
• Project is invoiced within 48 hours of receiving paperwork
• Follow up on invoice.

Group members

• Ensure Group members paperwork corresponds to client invoice
• Communicate any discrepancies with Group member; ensure that the correct paperwork is recorded.

Invoicing

• Control the invoicing of your clients.
• Ensure all work is invoiced in the month the work is carried out.
• Statements are emailed to clients in the format that they have requested.

Debt Collecting

• Assist with debt collecting where necessary

Training

• Responsible for training and managing an Assistant
• Responsible for the training of Group members inhouse program/system

Requirements:

• Ability to control, motivate and communicate with company personnel.
• Understand/implement company standards and maintain all documentation.
• Promote the company
• Have a working knowledge of industry and SABS standards.
• Ability to gain respect and manage people
• An ability to communicate with Suppliers, work teams, company departments and management.
• Highly proactive and use of initiative
• Business Development skills.
• Excellent decision-making skills
• Financial understanding – understand budgets and sales targets.
• Understand the importance of purchasing and invoicing on time.
• Understanding and implementation of the company policies and procedures.
