Client Liaison Officer/Sales Administrator

Our client, a leading food production and supply company, seeks to employ a vibrant, customer service driven and professional Sales Administrator/ Client Liaison Officer for their plant in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). .

Please note that this role is suited to candidates from a food and beverage or fast paced FMCG manufacturing or similar background, with solid knowledge of operations, supply chain and sales/order processing procedures.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have completed Matric, coupled with 3-5 years experience in order processing, assisting the sales team with customer related support, as well as being competent in stock and system related problem solving
• You will have proven experience in following up on outstanding monies owed to the company, keeping customers informed on any backorders and deliveries, as well as liaising with the production/logistics departments on stock levels and problems in deliveries
• Sound knowledge of FIFO within the FMCG sector, as well as safety and food quality standard experience is essential.
• You will be a “can do” problem solver, a high energy and organized person and be proactive in ensuring excellent customer service and professional management of key accounts internally.
• You will have solid proficiency working on a ERP system, preferably SYSPRO, as well as have superior record keeping abilities on MS Excel
• You will be able to communicate effectively in English and Afrikaans, be organized and have proven time management abilities
• You must have a valid driver’s license, own car, contactable work references and a clear criminal and credit record
