SUMMARY:
Clerical / Paralegal Assistant - Gauteng - Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

Our client, within the financial sector, is looking to employ a Clerical / Paralegal Assistant to join their team at their Johannesburg offices. The ideal candidate must be detail orientated and have strong EQ.

Requirements:

• Must have 3-5 years prior work related experience
  
• Must have administrative experience/background
  
• A Legal Diploma will be advantageous
  
• Reside in Johannesburg
  
• Excellent communication skills
  

Duties:

• Draft legal opinions
• Prepare documents relating to litigation
  
• Taking down meeting minutes
  
• Correspondence with SARS
  
• Assist with marketing
  
• Attend to court
  
• Assist with legal research
  
• Monitor documents, and collating of client documents for dispute purposes
  
• Follow through instructions given by Senior Attorney
  
• Arrange payments of invoices of advocates, send proof of payments
