Are you a seasoned Clearing and Forwarding Supervisor looking to refine your experience with a multinational organisation based in Durban, which is expanding into Africa, within the logistic transportation space?

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company description:
My client is a JSE listed business and is represented by subsidiaries, joint ventures, and associated companies in 19 countries. The deliverables of the role include addressing queries received from customers, SARS, TNPA or other Government institutes. Ensure that accurate tariff classifications are utilised when processing SARS documents. Liaise with shipping line and operational departments for updates on cargo arrival. Manage and administer bonded warehouses including compliance checks and audits in conjunction with the GLA customs compliance team. The role reports into the Business Unit Manager.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12
Customs and Clearing Certificate
3 years logistics and supervisory experience
5 years experience in the customs department, including imports, exports and cross border clearance and bonded cargo
Excel, Ship Shape
ISO compliance
