SUMMARY:
Claims Portfolio Relationship Manager East Rand – Germiston

POSITION INFO:

Academic Requirements:

vGrade 12.
vNQF Level 4 Short Term Insurance qualification (120-150 credits) – minimum requirement.
vHigher Certificate in Short Term Insurance – NQF Level 5 or higher – highly advantageous.
vSuccessfully passed RE 5 (Representative Exam) – essential.
vProvide evidence of being on the FSCA Register (DOFA date) – essential.
vB Degree would be advantageous.

Skills and Training Required:

vComputer literate – Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. 
vWork experience on the TIAL Operating System (System A) – not essential but advantageous.

 

Minimum Years of Formal & Informal Training Required:

vAdvanced Product knowledge and application of policy wording for all classes of insurance (Personal and Commercial Lines).
vA minimum of 6-8 years related work experience in short-term claims (Personal and Commercial, Motor and Non-Motor) – essential.
vRelevant work experience in short-term insurance portfolio management, account management and/or relationship management.
vRelevant work experience at an Insurer, UMA or other Risk Carrier, where broker interaction is an inherent part of the job.
vKnowledge and understanding of the Corporate Broking environment, current market trends within the Industry, external factors that could impact the business, as well as a sound understanding of competitor product offerings.
vMust be organized with good ability to manage time effectively.
vA firm understanding of basic Insurance law and principles would be advantageous.
