Claims Clerk - Short Term Insurance

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Claims Clerk - Short Term Insurance, for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

 

• NQF5 related qualification with passed First Level RE5 exam
• 2+ years commercial insurance claims experience
• Knowledge of insurer systems and overall strong IT skills
• Excellent communication skills

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Assist small claims team and ensure that excellent customer service is delivered
• Handling large loss claims
• Process / administer claims with various insurers
• Resolving client queries related to claim repudiations
• Maintain relationship with insurers, claims handlers and HOD’s

 

Salary:  Negotiable
