SUMMARY:
Civils Foreman required for the setting out of a 6 Level Multi Level Building Structure
Must have 15+ years experience gained on large multi story apartment building projects as Foreman

This role is for a limited duration of 10 months

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:
  • Liaison with Technical Team & chairing of meetings
  • Accurate interpretation of Drawings and understanding Specifications
  • Daily planning of resources and materials to achieve maximum output efficiencies in order to meet Programme dates
  • Ordering materials and hiring plant
  • Detailed setting out of the works from an established grid, benchmark or datum
  • Maintain and transfer datum levels
  • Daily checks of the works of Subcontractors for adherence to Drawings and Specifications
  • Cleanliness and good housekeeping
  • Safety requirements are compiled with and the work area is safe to work in
  • Complete Quality Assurance check lists daily and submit to Site Agent / Contract Manager
  • React to Non-conformance Reports immediately
  • Check or approve daily labour allocations by Site Clerk
  • Control wastage of materials
  • Liaise with Site Manager on the progress of different sites
Project details
  • 28 Secure Apartments over 5 Floors, ranging in size from one bedroom apartments to four bedroom Penthouses.
  • Contract Value – R70 Million
  • Area - Newlands
