SUMMARY:
Oversee the running of rural water system and infrastructure projects in the Northern Cape for one of the biggest consulting firms in South Africa.
POSITION INFO:
Designing rural water reticulation systems
Designing internal surfaced and gravel roads including storm water systems
Compile tender documents and specifications
Draft Feasibility reports, design, and evaluation reports
Quality control and on-site construction supervision
Conducting technical meetings and site progress meetings
Overall project management and interaction with clients
Business development
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years experience
Eligibility Professionally Register with ECSA
WTravel extensively and work overtime if required
Experience in design, implementation and managing of rural water and road infrastructure projects
Able to drive marketing campaigns with clients
Fluent in English and Setswana/Tswana/Sotho
Understand end respect relevant rural traditions
Fluent in writing reports, tender documents, and conditions of contracts
Qualification:
BSc/ BEng/ BTech/ NDip in Civil Engineering
ECSA Registered Candidate Engineering Technologist (PR registration beneficial)
