A leading consulting engineering firm is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with experience in renewable energy projects to join their Energy Division. This exciting opportunity is available in either Johannesburg or Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Provide project management support to the lead Project Manager in delivering lender's technical advisory, owner's engineer, and design services.
Oversee project planning, feasibility studies, concept design development, and preparation of technical specifications and tender documentation.
Focus on renewable energy systems, including photovoltaic, wind, storage, and grid systems.
Conduct technical due diligence reviews, construction monitoring, and operational monitoring at various project stages.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and design drawings.
Contribute to bid and proposal preparation.

Requirements:

BEng, BSc, or BTech in Civil Engineering
Registered as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA
At least 4 years of relevant experience in the energy sector, with specific exposure to renewable energy (solar and/or wind)
