POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a self-motivated draftsman who can work alongside technicians and other draftsmen as part of a team. You will be based in the office with occasional site visits if the project requires. We are looking for good work ethics and attention to detail.

Draughtsman Responsibility:

Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings
Implementing company drawing standard
Preparing bill of quantities for costing purposes
Liaise with field technicians to prepare as-built drawings as per phased hand-over
Complete quality assurance test procedures (QITP forms)
Track design milestones and revisions on drawing register

Draughtsman Requirements:

Knowledge of a CAD software (AutoCad or preferably Microstation)
Knowledge of Google Earth and Excel.
Ability to Geo reference sites based on location (will be advantageous)
General knowledge of latitude and longitude
Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD)
Ability to work well in a team and on your own
Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
Ability to work well under pressure
Must be willing to assist in all areas of the projects team
