POSITION INFO:
Preferably a B Tech or National Diploma in Civil Engineering.
This will provide good technical knowledge of loads, load directions, moment transfer, shear, bending, deflections
Advance steel/autocad/revit experience. Must understand: xrefs, 3d solid editing, block editing, coordinates, 2. Basic knowledge of concrete design, ground pressure, shear forces, understand tension/compression.
Must understand rebar schedules and how to assemble it within the concrete.
Very good understanding of draughting principles (section views, detail views, general arrangements, etc), rebar detailing, understand main span and secondary span.
