POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a Farm Production Manager / Citrus and Stone Fruit Manager to join their team in the Cape Winelands area.

This is an exciting position with exposure to various crops for someone with a passion for people and the farming aspect of a business!

Requirements:

• A Degree or Diploma in an appropriate field of study is essential.
• At least 5 years’ working experience in citrus.
• Work knowledge of fruit production, organizational skills, time management skills and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of stone fruit will be to your advantage.
• Must be able to work and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Personnel management and development.
• Production unit management.
• Handling of audits.
• Management of daily farm activities.
• Budget Management / Cost Management.
• Management of fertilizer and pest control programs.
• Scheduling of irrigation.
• Administration duties.

Area: Cape Winelands area.

Starting date: As soon as possible.

Salary: Market related.
