POSITION INFO:

Chemical buyer needed based in Midrand area, must have at least 3 years buying experience in the chemical industry. Duties include: monitor purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers - local and overseas, source suppliers, research new products, negotiate contract terms, ensure optimal stock levels, review pricing, compare and evaluate venders, negotiate product to be sold, ensure import regulations for chemicals are adhered to and documentation is completed accurately.
