Purpose:
We are looking for a strong Sous Chef.
Responsibilities
• Train and motivate kitchen staff members
• Manage the a la carte and banqueting pass on a daily basis
• Create and maintain recipes
• Daily meetings and handovers with staff
• Staff rostering
• Maintain and achieve food costing targets
• Maintain and implement hygiene standards
• Assist with monthly stock takes
• Running and overseeing of the hotel breakfasts
Requirements
• Matric
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a sous chef position in a 5-star environment
• Portfolio required
