SUMMARY:
Datacentrix is looking for a Change and Problem Administrator will manage the Change and Problem Management Processes from the point of initiating a Change Request or Problem to the closure of the Change or Problem. The role will also be responsible for all reporting for Change and Problem Management. The role will ensure governance compliance in operations and utilise the operational escalations process to communicate non-compliance. The Change and Problem Administrator will schedule the CAB and Problem meetings to take the meeting minutes and ensure updates are applied into the Service Management system.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Required Experience:
  • 5 years’ IT experience Operational IT Change and Problem Management process
Responsbilities:
  • Interact with the CMDB Team to ensure process integration is in place and to identify gaps that can be improved upon
  • Responsible for Change Requests and Problems throughout the lifecycle from the initial registration through to the final closeout of the records
  • Initiate and co-ordinate the CAB review process for the assessment and approval of presented changes
  • Initiate and co-ordinate the Problem review process to ensure the Root Cause Analysis is completed and submitted for approval by the business
  • Provide and review Daily/Weekly/Monthly Change and Problem Management reports ensuring the process objectives and SLAs are achieved
  • Facilitate the following: Ensure that a consistent approach is used in the handling and or processing of change requests logged.
  • Post-implementation review of change requests implemented to be attached to the initial change request logged before the change request is closed
  • All change requests to be approved in the CAB meeting - Final.
  • Circulate all change requests to be implemented to all of the CAB members in advance to allow for prior consideration.
  • Facilitate the Problem Review meetings to ensure Problems and discussed and Root Cause Analysis information is signed off
  • Lead the Change and Problem team
