 JOB DESCRIPTION:

A leading company in the stationery industry is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Chain Store Coordinator to manage relationships with key retail partners. The candidate should be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will report to the National Sales Manager.

Start Date: 1st November 2024

Salary Structure:

• Basic: R 11 250.00
• Comm:  R 13 750.00

Total: R25 000.00 per month

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

• Responsible for sales to retail chain store accounts.
• Selection, and achievement of listing products, range, and pricing.
• The above arrangements are to be discussed with the Managing Director and National Sales Manager.
• Review outstanding payments for assigned customers.
• Responsible for checking the rebate deductions made by the assigned customers and getting authorization from the managing Director on the rebates.
• Responsible for the appointments of Sales agents.
• Procurement of Retail Chains for Pentel S.A.
• Maintain and grow Chain Stores.
• Introduce and control promotion and activities on these accounts.
• Once a year range change negotiation.
• Calling on chain stores to ensure correct merchandising.
• Control merchandising agents.
• Training of merchandising agents
• Managing of Sales Distributor (BSC)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in retail, supply chain management, or coordination roles (preferably in the stationery or FMCG industry)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of merchandising and retail store operations
• Experience in liaising with chain store managers or buyers
