Centre Manager - Mall

SUMMARY:
A  Shopping Mall based in Siyabuswa, Mpumalanga is looking for an experienced Centre Manager.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirement;

• Matric and related post qualification
• 3 -5 years experience as a Centre Manager in a mall 

Key duties;

• Assumes responsibility for the effective operations management of Centre and facilities.
• Keeps abreast of market activities in respect of tenant movement, new developments, major vacancies
• Attends meetings / functions relevant to the successful operation of the Centre
• Prepares a three year maintenance plan including for submission to the Property Manager
• Investigates/initiates/determines requirements for proposals for refurbishments
• Maintains a hands-on control of projects/service providers in hand
• Acts as a liaison between the Company and external contacts.
• Ensures effective coordination of external services with Company operations.
• Promotes goodwill and a positive image of the Company.
• Effectively supervises Centre personnel/service providers, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conducts regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of changes in policies and procedures.
• Discusses areas needing improvement.
• Directs daily operations.
• Provides measurable feedback to assigned personnel and suggestions for improved performance.
• Maintenance of tenant relationships
• Maintenance of community and related organisations i.e. (taxi association)
• Establishes and maintains sound public relations
• Attracts people to the centre
• Motivates and assists tenants to improve their services
• Assumes responsibility for the effective repairs and maintenance of the centre.
• Sends through daily reports as per the reporting template.
• Represents the company ethically and as per the company’s goals and objectives.
