Centre Manager

SUMMARY:
A listed Propery company with a diversified portfolio of property assets, locally and internationally is looking for a Centre Manager

POSITION INFO:

Job Purpose

Responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the Centre to provide long-term profitability, sustainable growth and maximize returns.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Matric plus five years of current Centre / Property management experience
• Advanced Shopping Centre Management certification would be an added advantage
• Appropriate people management experience is essential
• Sound marketing experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial strategies, formulate business plans, monitor and control income and expenditure according to business plan objectives
• Formulate annual budget, calculate trading densities, ratio analysis, negotiate contractor’s fees and craft own Key Performance Indicators
• Lease negotiations with tenants, prepare leasing proposals
• All functions related to debtor management including supervision of collection of rental and collection of arrear rental, negotiations regarding financial arrangements with tenants and liaison with attorneys when required
• Responsible for the development of marketing strategies in conjunction with Marketing professionals
• Prepare management packs/ management reporting
• Other responsibilities will involve but not be limited to the management of external contractors, appropriate relationship building with tenants, staff management and implementation of preventative maintenance plans
