The Role
As a Category Planner I, in the Agri-Retail & Supply Chain sector, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing demand planning to perfectly align with actual sales performance. Main Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, demand patterns, and market dynamics to directly inform forecasting and category planning.
- Demand Forecasting: Develop and manage demand forecasts, seasonal plans, and replenishment schedules using the Blue Yonder system.
- Inventory Optimization: Optimize stock service levels, monitor inventory performance, and maximize category profitability.
- Reporting & Insights: Monitor supply chain execution, generate regular reports, and provide continuous insights to support strategic executive decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Digital Innovation: Leverage modern digital tools to drive operational efficiency and uncover new market opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor''s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering MUST!
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in demand planning, category planning, or supply chain analytics.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is non-negotiable.
- Systems: Prior experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) Planning systems is highly advantageous.
- Flexibility: A willingness to work extended hours during peak retail/agricultural seasonal periods.
