Cashier/Debtors Clerk

SUMMARY:
Our client, in the distribution of electronic security equipment, is looking for a Cashier/Debtors Clerk to be based in the Centurion area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Matric
• Pastel experience
• Experience as a debtors clerk with a basic understanding of debits, credits and account allocations.

Duties:

• Phoning for outstanding money on the debtors age analysis and allocating payments as per remittance on Pastel
• Cashier duties - daily Point of sale card payments and Cashbook processing on Pastel
• Handling a petty cash with a  float of R1000
• Generating Invoices and Credit notes on Pastel &  recording on Excel sheet
• Assisting with Credit Guarantee 30 day Account customer applications
• Ad hoc Administration duties – relieving the receptionist on occasion during the day and ordering stationery
