POSITION INFO:
Our client has an opportunity for a Creditors / Cashbook Clerk to join their fast-paced finance team. The role supports multiple entities and requires strong accuracy, accountability, and hands-on experience in creditors and cashbook functions, ideally using MDA or MRI Property Central. This position suits someone who works independently and performs well under pressure.
Reporting to the Senior Accountant and working closely with the Financial Manager, the successful candidate will join a growing finance team of 19 in a high-energy, trust-driven environment.

Duties:
- Full-function creditor processing across ±12 entities
- Reconcile supplier accounts and ensure timely payments
- Perform monthly cashbook reconciliations
- Process EFT payments through internet banking
- Request and follow up on invoices from Municipalities, Eskom, SLA, and other recurring creditors
- Maintain reconciliation files in Excel
- Ensure financial records are accurate and complete
- Take ownership of assigned reconciliations and payment cycles
- Support finance deadlines and uphold internal control procedures
Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:- Matric (Grade 12)
- Diploma in Financial Management or related discipline
Experience:- Minimum 2–3 years in a Creditors or Cashbook Clerk role.
- Proven experience with MDA or MRI Property Central is required
- Experience managing finances across multiple legal entities
- Previous exposure to the property industry is a plus
Skills & Competencies:- High Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations).
- Strong command of MS Office (Outlook, Word.
- Sound understanding of creditors and cashbook workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and own your work.
- Deadline-driven and able to manage pressure.
