As the company continues to scale, a new opportunity has opened for a Creditors / Cashbook Clerk to join the fast-paced finance team. This role supports multiple entities and demands precision, accountability, and deep hands-on experience with creditor and cashbook functions - particularly using MDA or MRI Property Central systems. Reporting to the Senior Accountant and operating under the direct supervision of the Financial Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a finance team growing to 19 members. Duties:
- Full-function creditor processing across ±12 entities
- Reconciliation and payment of suppliers on time
- Monthly cashbook reconciliations
- Execution of EFT payments via internet banking
- Requesting and following up on accounts from Municipalities, Eskom, SLA, and other recurring creditors
- Maintenance of Excel-based reconciliation files
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Independent responsibility for assigned recons and payment cycles
- Supporting finance deadlines and internal control adherence.
Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications: - Matric (Grade 12)
- Finance-related diploma or training is advantageous.
Experience: - Minimum 2–3 years in a Creditors or Cashbook Clerk role.
- Experience using MDA or MRI Property Central is essential.
- Experience working across multiple legal entities.
- Property industry experience is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies:
- High Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations).
- Strong command of MS Office (Outlook, Word.
- Sound understanding of creditors and cashbook workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and own your work.
- Deadline-driven and able to manage pressure.
