SUMMARY:
Bulk transport company based in Pretoria North is seeking to appoint a Cashbook Clerk. Strong previous / current cashbook experience a prerequisite for this role.

POSITION INFO:

Daily responsibilities

Manage of trip money cash float
Issue and receipt of all cash for all relevant trips done by fleet
Cash reconciliations updated daily
Checking and reconciliation of slips received back after each trip
Cash count for verification weekly.
Liaison with Bank with regards to cash float needs

Monthly responsibilities

CBRTA permits – Request payment and reconciliations for all permits due.
Fleet Licenses - Renewal of licenses and registrations of new vehicles.
Reserve Bank submission – Ensure that the SARB submission template is
Prepared and reconciled to the actual cash withdrawals after which it would be submitted to FM for review.

Qualifications and experience

Matric / Grade 12
Computer literate
Communication Skills
Strong cashbook experience
Pastel knowledge beneficial
