SUMMARY:
A franchise company based in Centurion is looking for a Cash Reconciliations/ Dailies Clerk. The person must be able to speak fluent Afrikaans and must come from a similar industry. The processing of sales generated by the stores and matching the sales to the cash takings daily. The job also requires that all differences are to be investigated and reported where differences canÃ¢Â€Â™t be resolved.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

- Process daily cash up sheets received from various stores on an internal Excel checking templates.

- Process the sales on Pastel accounting system, after all checks and verifications are done

- Check data accuracy of daily cash ups against the necessary supporting documentation

- Contact the store manager to obtain missing information or answer queries

- Verify sales generated by the store daily to the cash takings received, example cash; credit cards; vouchers; delivery partners like Uber & MrD etc.

- Investigate where there are differences between the sales and cash takings

- Differences that cannot be resolved should be escalated to superior.
