Case Manager (Hospital)

SUMMARY:
Urgent vacancy for a Case Manager with general and specialty case management experience at a hospital based in Durban, inland.

POSITION INFO:

The main responsibilities includes (not limited to):

• Assess patient clinical reports to liasie with Medical aids
• Confirm L.O.S and L.O.C for patients
• Check all ICD and CPT coding
• Process all patient updates with Medical aids
• Liaise with doctors, patients and nursing staff
• Liaise with Debtors department related to any queries
• Assist doctors and patients with stepdown facility requirements  
• Handle all queries and communication with Medical aid Case Managers
• Submit accounts timeously
• General administration 

Education & Skills:

Grade 12

Enrolled Nurse OR Registered Nurse (essential)

SANC registered 2021

min 2 yrs Case management experience in a private hospital

Knowledge of Medical aid policies & procedures

Intermediate/Advanced ICD 10 and CPT coding

Good administration skills

Good verbal and written communication skills
