POSITION INFO:

Requirements: 

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Logistics qualification advantageous
• Must have a valid driver''''s license.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills:

• Self-Motivated with good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in meeting deadlines with an attention to detail.
• Must be organised and methodical.
• Problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, driver management, fleet management, monitor and manage deliveries and routes, of fleet.
• Responsible for the performance and management of assets and staff under your control.
• Assets and staff to meet with all company, statutory and legal standards/requirements.
• Deliveries are to meet all Service level agreements of customers.
• Ensure administration and documentation controls are monitored and managed.
• Manage all disciplinary action in relation to staff misconduct and performance.
• Check all vehicles under your control on a daily basis for any new damage or defects, also ensuring the cleanliness of the asset.
• Ensuring that all equipment / machinery is serviced within the allowed service intervals and planned COFs updated.
• Manage vehicle checklists and complete accurate diesel consumption and service reports.
• Constant monitoring of all emails.
• Accident / Incident investigation and submission of all documentation.
• Manage warehouse stock, stacking, drawing and dispatch and receiving.
• Submission of Monthly Management reports
• Must be willing to work Long hours and on Weekend if and when required.
