POSITION INFO:

Requirements;

• Matric
• Min 3-5 years in a similar position.
• Knowledge of the methods of carpentry work
• Skills in using tools to cut and join wooden materials
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Ability to follow oral instructions with little need for repetition
• Ability to work under pressure
• Valid South African driver’s license, minimum code 8 

Duties;

• Must be able restore furniture
• Gathering of the correct material to be used
• Paint mixing and colour matching
• Measures and marks materials for cutting
• Cut and drill wood and other materials using hand and power tools
• Join materials with nails, screws or glue
• Checks accuracy of work with levels, rulers and measuring tapes
• Deadline driven with ability to carefully assess and streamline processes
• Must be able to handle pressure and be willing to work extended hours if required
