SUMMARY:
Our client, a private school in Cape Town near Blouberg has an opportunity available for a Campus Bursar to join their finance team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification required:
  • Bcom
 Skills and experience required: 
  • Previous experience in a school would be advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Must be fully computer literate – Pastel would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication with parents and pupils
Job description:
  • Report to Finance Manager
  • Assist FM and Principal with budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor expenditure
  • Manages and controls petty cash
  • Receive outstanding accounts
  • Receive and allocate payments accordingly
  • Financial reporting
  • Invoicing
  • Bank recons
  • Meet with parents to resolve billing and account queries
  • Submit invoices for approval and pay invoices
  • Assist with payroll
