JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for a Campaign Officer to join their team.

Designing appropriate campaign strategies and implementing them effectively
Supervising your own campaign related projects
Monitoring relevant developments (legislation, politics, consumption, economy) in the field of animal welfare
(specifically farm, companion and wild animals)
Establishing contacts with stakeholders from the media, politics, civil society, within the corporate industry and maintaining engagement with businesses
Undertaking various pieces of research related to campaigns
Coordinating with national and international colleagues on a regular basis

Required Skills

7 Years of Experience

Qualifications

Several years relevant professional experience
Demonstrated experience in the organisation of campaigns, ideally from the NGO environment
University degree in the field of humanities, social sciences, climate change or biological sciences
Experience in scientific work
Project management and online mobilisation experience
In-depth topic research skills and familiarity with various analytical methods and strategy development
A persuasive communicator with a great understanding of and sensitivity for different stakeholders
