Call Centre Agent

Our client has an opportunity available for a Call Centre Agent based in Johannesburg.

Requirements:

• Matric.
• Ability to speak Afrikaans.
• Occupational Health and Safety Compliance qualification.
• 2 to 4 years’ sales experience in a Call Centre environment.
• Experience in developing leads and researching potential clients.
• Ability to contact customers, complete sales and manage other tasks independently.
• Computer literate.
• Technical aptitude.
• Proven sales track record, trade references and recommendations.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities:

• Contact existing and prospective clients to upsell health and safety short courses.
• Recommend and select products for customers based on their individual needs.
• Follow up on leads generated from the Sales Consultants and Regional Managers.
• Find new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals
• Find potential customers through networking, cold calling and industry research to increase sales.
• Actively match the needs of the client with the features and benefits of the product.
• Provide clients with relevant product and service information.
• Describe products and explain their benefits and uses to potential customers.
• Communicate with customers by phone and email to understand their needs.
• Achieve monthly sales, compliance and quality targets.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the company’s various products and services.
