Call Center Agent

SUMMARY:
The Financial Services Division of an innovative technology and software business, with a strong background in the financial services sector is looking for a Share Dealer to join their developing and thriving team.

POSITION INFO:

Duties to be executed will include, but not limited to, assisting investors to buy and sell shares without offering specific investment advice, registering new investors on trading platform, verifying existing investors, loading trade instructions received by investors telephonically, and ensuring that FICA requirements are being adhered to before investors enter transactions.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Answering inbound calls from investors to take sales orders and buy bids
• Assisting investors and prospective investors by answering inquiries and questions with confidence, handling complaints, troubleshooting problems and providing information
• Assisting walk-in investors and prospective investors with document submission, trade instructions and request information
• Accurately updating investor information
• Arranging for the dispatch of forms and information to investors and other interested parties 
• Following up on requests  from investors which involves clerical duties like faxing, emailing, posting and filling
• Taking an interest in and keeping informed about share market trends 
• Collecting, verifying and uploading new investor applications 
• Following up with investors regarding outstanding documentation
• Identifying and escalating priority issues
• Following up customer calls when necessary

Minimum Requirements

• Degree (Preferably in Finance)
• Clear Credit and Criminal Record
• Minimum of 6 months Call Center and Customer Service Experience 
• Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English 
• Customer-focused
• Enthusiastic, positive and motived outlook
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
