SUMMARY:
We’re currently seeking a Calibration Technician with a strong mechanical trade background to join our Client in Australia.
POSITION INFO:
The work is well-suited to mechanically minded tradespeople who are comfortable with routine, hands-on tasks and take pride in doing the job properly each time. The role closely aligns with the responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineering Technician, involving calibration, diagnostics, servicing, and quality checks.
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver calibration services on-site, including travel across QLD and interstate
- Carry out servicing, diagnostics and minor repairs on mechanical equipment
- Calibrate a range of industrial tools, instruments, and workshop equipment
- Maintain detailed calibration and service records
- Communicate with clients and ensure their compliance needs are met
- Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives
What you’ll need:- A mechanical trade background (e.g. fitter, mechanic, diesel technician, etc.)
- Ability to travel extensively (interstate and remote)
- Willingness to work a 16:12 roster
- HR (Heavy Rigid) license or ability to obtain one
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Good computer literacy
- Clear communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Ability to pass regular medical, drug and alcohol screening
- Strong English language skills, both written and spoken
- Full Australian working rights
