Job Description

Your responsibilities will be:

• Providing expert energy generation & large scale storage product and solutions knowledge to the company
• Optimizing your portfolio through establishing, maintaining and developing strong long-term relationships with suppliers, clients, key business executives and stakeholders.
• Act as point of reference for all product related enquiries.
• Also providing specialist support, guidance, monitoring and evaluation of Installations and Maintenance services as provided by the company.
• Liaising between Suppliers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of the company’s Storage products and services according to client needs.
• Provide product training for internal and external stakeholders.
• Review product pricing, forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at warehouses including liaison with production (locally and globally) to ensure supply timelines.
• Providing specialist support, guidance, monitoring and evaluation of Installations and Maintenance Services.
• Review of system stock levels
• Make product diagrams/specifications and any specific product requirements available to all stakeholders.
• Oversee product non-conformances and taking the appropriate action where required.
• Assist with marketing and branding material for products
• Provide and generate information for successful Tender / Bids / RFQs / RFIs / RFPs and Vendor Applications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications or related

Skills

• A minimum of 3 years Energy Storage Product knowledge and actual deployment experience.
• Must be an expert in the field of Energy Storage Products, i.e. batteries, inverters, solar panels, rectifiers
• Knowledge or background within the Alternative Energy Industry (advantageous).
• Battery Storage Solution Design (Bill of material and services)
• Product pricing with international shipping component, pre-inspections, tariffs, duties etc.
• Code 8 drivers license and own reliable vehicle.
• Valid Passport
• National and International travel required
