SUMMARY:
Buzias Timis County Area – Romania: Our client is looking for a Farm Manager to join the team.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Degree or diploma in agriculture
10 years management experience preferable in broad acre crops
Computer literate
Valid drivers license
Mechanically orientated
Ability to motivate and work with staff
Must have a valid passport or work permit

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES

3000 Ha cereal farm with winter wheat, Barley, Oilseed rape winter peas as the winter crops Summer crops sunflower, maize under irrigation
Manage the full crop rotations to achieve very good yields
Financial planning and P&L management
Will have approx. 32 direct reports
Must be able to lead in multi-cultural environment
Attention to detail a must
Knowledge of management Reports and European marketing standards an advantage
Knowledge of Italian or Spanish will help with understanding Romanian, must actively try learn local language
English first language
