CROP FARM MANAGER

SUMMARY:
IDA Area – EC: An exciting opportunity awaits the successful candidate to join this team at grass root level

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
• Min of 5 years previous experience with:

1. Planting and growing of maize / soya / beans / lucerne /sorghum /winter cereals
2. Fertilizing, mowing,
3. Irrigation of pastures
4. Proven management of maize growing and other crops
5. Management of silage feeding, bail feeding
6. Fencing
7. Experience driving and operating John Deere Planting Equipment

Manage general maintenance of tractors and farm related implements

Being mechanically orientated highly advantageous

Ability to speak Xhosa highly advantageous
