Credit Controller / Debtors Clerk in Midrand MATRIC CREDIT CONTROL EXPERIENCE DIPLOMA IN CREDIT CONTROL WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE

POSITION INFO:

Credit Controller / Debtors Clerk in Midrand.

• Minimum 3 years computer experience with main frame Eg Baan, SAP etc
• Good working knowledge of MS Office - excel, Word, Email

Credit Control

• Maintains efficient credit control according to policies and procedures
  • Ensure debtors days do not exceed 30
• Reviews credit applications for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensures customer back-ground checks are done
• Prepares and reconciles debtors statements & attends to queries
• Prepares schedules for bad debt and credit notes quarterly
• Hands over delinquent accounts timeously
• Prepares reconciliations for Customer refunds

Petty Cash / Cash Office and Cash Sales

• Maintains petty cash float
• Ensures the safe-keeping of petty cash
• Petty cash disbursed if vouchers authorized by responsible manager
• Issues receipts for cash sales and prepares daily cash reconciliation
• Ensures that cash is safe guarded at all times
• Prepares monthly cash sale reconciliations

Other

• Stock take
• Performs other adhoc duties within reason e.g. back-up for other staff in admin
• Ensures good house-keeping
