RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the lifting equipment industry to recruit a CRANE TECHNICIAN SUPERVISOR to be based in PINETOWN, approximately R200 to R250 per hour.
OUR CLIENT PROVIDES LIFTING EQUIPMENT DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED FOR HIGH SPEED AND OPTIMUM FLEXIBILITY AS WELL AS REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES, ON A NATIONAL BASIS.
The ideal candidate should have/be the following:
1. Solid experience working as a Crane Technician.
2. Electrical/Millwright qualifications.
3. Supervisory experience.
Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
1. Overseeing and assisting a team tasked with repairing and the maintenance of crane equipment, including:
a. Replacement of defective parts.
b. Cleaning of equipment.
c. Testing of machinery.
d. Overhauling of cranes.
2. Estimating the cost of repairs.
3. Ordering parts.
4. Track crane maintenance by writing technical reports.
Remuneration:
Approximately R200 to R50 per hour.
