SUMMARY:
Our client a leading stockist of Steel, Tube and Industrial Hardware requires an experienced counter salesperson to assist customers telephonically and over the counter with their selections, offer technical advice, quote customers as well as reach and exceed sales targets.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

  • Recent working experience in retail and wholesale steel, tube and industrial hardware is essential and not negotiable
  • Knowledge of mild steel products, industrial hardware, pipes and fittings and related products
  • Computer literate
  • Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Reside in or around the Vaal Triangle area
  • Reliable transport
  • Of sober habits
  • Able to work Retail Hours
    • Monday to Thursday 07h30 – 17h00 and Fridays until 16h30 as well as alternative Saturdays and Public Holidays from 08h00 – 13h00
    • A stable work record and have contactable references
