CONSULTANT -RETAIL OPERATIONS

Role Overview

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming work is seen to timeously, that any pending work is followed up on to ensure that the case is finalised.

Responsibilities

•             Processing of incoming instructions in respect of:

o             The validation and processing of new business transactions iro of Umbrella fund and Retirement Annuity Section 14 transfers

o             Ensuring employer, IFA and member queries are attended to timeously with superior levels of service

o             Working closely with the Umbrella fund team to ensure new schemes are onboarded and implemented with superior levels of service

. Validating all incoming instructions with regards to:

o             Various legislative requirements relating to Umbrella Pension and Provident Funds and Group Retirement Annuities.

o             Completeness and accuracy of instruction from EB Consultants, Employers and Scheme Advisors.

o             FICA requirements complied with (where relevant)

•             Liaise with EB Consultants, Employers, Scheme Advisors and IFA’s regarding the correct implementation of instructions received to meet our service delivery standards

•             Attending to queries from internal stakeholders that include Principal Officers, Legal and compliance

•             Continuous focus on process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce risk

•             Ensuring the submission of tax directives on a bulk level

•             Maintaining records of all interactions with all stakeholders

•             Ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time

Requirements

•             Relevant experience: relevant business qualification and/or job/industry

•             Experience in Employee Benefits would be an advantage.

•             Experience and knowledge of Section 14 transfers would be an advantage.

•             Computer literacy required – Word, Excel, Email
