CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR - ISANDO

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an individual with a professional work ethic and organised disposition. The individual must have a with a strong technical background in the Mechanical Engineering with excellent people management and customer skills.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Site Construction and maintenance & repairs.
• Supervising Others.
• Pre-planning prior to site establishment.
• Site assessment and reporting.
• Manage Job Completion and Hand Over.
• Ensure Safety of Staff & construction sub-contractors.
• Ensure Quality assurance and Quality Control.
• Maintaining a good customer relationship. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12

• Trade tested Boilermaker/ Mechanical Fitter/ Millwright

• Valid driver licence with no endorsements.

EXPERIENCE

• We seek a suitably qualified but, more importantly, motivated and experienced person, with a strong technical background who is able to work well with people.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a construction supervisory role.
• Must have knowledge of Coal, Fired and Oil/Diesel Fire Tube Boilers
• Must have knowledge and practical experience of Health institution Hot water generators (Calorifiers) and domestic hot weather reticulation systems.
• Must have knowledge and practical experience of Steam and Condensate reticulation systems.
• Good Knowledge of Health institution functional structures.
• Proven ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills in English both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of Safety and Quality Procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
