SUMMARY:
Service, repair and install compressors and auxiliary equipment in RSA and Sub-Sahara Africa

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Trade Certificate Millwright

Drivers’ License

Valid Passport

Good bill of health

Computer literacy (MS Office)

No criminal record

Able to work at odd times

Duties:

Site Repairs and services in SA and Sub Saharan Africa

Safety

Comply to safe working procedures as stipulated to minimize risk

Technical

Must have good maintenance, repairs and servicing experience of various types of rotation equipment which includes axial, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors; HP, LP and IP turbines;

Ensure correct equipment is taken along for specific jobs

Execute services and repairs as per quotation or requirements

Ensure equipment is operating as per the designed operating data

Liaise with End user and advise on machine status and possible improvements

Promote regular maintenance and assistance from Client

Onsite maintenance training

Spares

Check all spares and documentation prior to leaving for site

Ensure all spares and documentation are delivered correctly

Ensure correct required spares are quoted

Admin

Ensure that time sheets are filled in correctly and timeously

Ensure correct and up to date documentation is received to do the required job

Compile full Service and or Repair Report on work done, including correct operating data and spares

Vehicle & Tools

Maintain and take responsibility of complete vehicle and tools as per the Standard Operating Procedure

Remuneration:

R140/h (R27k) plus benefits
