JOB DESCRIPTION:

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established, international organisation in the TRAVEL INDUSTRY to recruit a COMMERCIAL/CONTRACTS EXECUTIVE to be based at their offices in DURBAN.

Please note that experience in the travel industry is essential and it will involve overseas travel.

OUR CLIENT, ESTABLISHED OVER 50 YEARS AGO, PROVIDES UNFORGETTABLE HOLIDAYS IN AFRICA AND SOUTH ASIA.

The ideal candidate should have/be the following:

Commercially minded.

A service-oriented approach.

Good negotiation skills.

Good selling skills.

Good with figures.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Negotiating contracts.

Maintaining relationships with suppliers.

Competitor analysis.

Copywriting (for brochures, flyers, website, social media).

Working Hours During SA Summer:

11:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday with a one hour break for lunch.

11:00 – 16:00 alternate Saturdays with no break for lunch

Not required to work on UK public holidays (10).

Will be required to work on SA public holidays.

Leave: 20 working days leave per a year.

Working Hours During SA Winter:

10:00 – 19:00 Monday to Friday with a one hour break for lunch.

10:00 – 15:00 alternate Saturdays with no break for lunch

Remuneration:

Market related, depending on experience and qualifications.
