COMMERCIAL CLAIMS CONSULTANT

Description of Role:

To provide clients with an efficient and effective claims service and support in respect of their claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• The registration and maintenance of all motor and non-motor claims on existing policies;
• Handling all claims until finality and within Jacana Admin mandates;
• Ongoing communication with Brokers and Client Liaison teams telephonically and via e-mail, in respect of the status of their claims;
• Limited client liaison and assistance with queries; and - Recoveries and Third Party approaches.

Qualification/s & Experience:

• Full qualification at NQF Level 4.
• Class of Business Training (if applicable).
• FAIS Regulatory Exam (RE5).
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years relevant experience.

Skills:

• Attention to detail and a systematic, thorough approach;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
•  Excellent conflict handling skills;
• Highly competent with MS Office suite, paperless environment & Workflow experience.
