POSITION INFO:
Qualification
- Matric
- BTech or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Requirements
- 2 - 3 Years experience operating utilities or industrial process plants (especially in beverage / FMCG sectors)
- Familiarity with pressure vessels, compressors, SCADA/PLC control systems, basic mechanical/instrumentation troubleshooting
Duties
- Monitor plant parameters (pressure, temperature, flow rates, and gas purity) using control systems, HMI/SCADA interfaces
- Collect gas samples, conduct purity and quality tests, and ensure compliance with food-grade or industrial standards (such as ISO 22000, FSSC, or HACCP in beverage and food plants)
- Perform minor equipment servicing, inspect compressors, valves, and gas detectors, and assist maintenance teams during planned shutdowns or breakdowns
- Record daily production logs, monitor zero-leak/safety thresholds under regulations like the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act, and handle road tanker loading
