CNC Turner

Duties & Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC lathe machines to perform tasks such as drilling, tapping, turning etc.
• Reading and interpreting of engineering drawings
• Measure finished products according to customers drawings
• Working to fine tolerances (0,01mm) as per customers’ requirements
• Adjusting of programs to suit material

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Proven experience as CNC lathe setter and operator
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• Good communication abilities
• Competent using measuring equipment: micrometer, depth vernier, clock gauge, inside micrometer and telescopic gauge (will be tested on all of these in interview)
• Must have basic programming skills
• Ability to work independently
