SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing sector (Plastics) based in Lenasia area is looking for an experienced CNC Toolmaker

POSITION INFO:
Only Candidates with the following Experience and Qualifications will be considered:

Qualified Trade Tested Toolmaker
Proficiency in programming and operating controls
Computer literacy
Min 2-3 years relevant experience in plastic injection moulding
Min 2-3 years relevant general Tool room working experience including hand work
Must be able to read and interpret Technical Drawings
Experience in Edgecam essential
Must have knowledge on 3D modelling software (Inventor or Solidworks or similar)·
Experience in Thin-wall injection moulding will be added advantage
Own car required
Company cellphone/allowance provided
Plant runs 24 hours/ 7 days
Weekend and shift work

Key Performance Areas:

Programming, setting-up and operating of CNC machines
Proper cutter selection for specific application
Minimized idle time
Maintain high quality standards at all times
Cutting tool management by ensuring that the correct cutters be available at all times
Maintain and modify existing moulds as well as manufacture/design new tools
Maintain tight tolerances
Attend to breakdowns at all times, including after-hours support. Weekends, public holidays, etc included
Refurbish tooling to standard specifications
Repair breakdowns
Assist with tool-related problems
Help with troubleshooting
Ready to do standby on weekends, public holidays, after hours, etc is essential
Ability to work overtime when required
Maintain safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards
Possibility of working shifts
