SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator with strong Edgecam experience and hands-on knowledge of advanced milling machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines, with a key focus on producing high-precision moulds

Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience working with
Edgecam (essential).
Strong knowledge of
advanced milling machines.
Experience in
toolmaking (Trade Test advantageous).
Ability to
program, set, and operate CNC machines.
Strong understanding of machining principles and mould-making processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Advantages / Nice-to-Have:
Trade Tested Toolmaker certification.
Experience with other CAM/CAD systems.
Experience in a mould-manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create CNC programs using Edgecam for advanced milling operations.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC milling machines.
- Manufacture high-precision moulds according to design specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and machining instructions.
- Select appropriate tools, speeds, and cutting parameters for each job.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Perform basic maintenance and ensure machines operate efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams for continuous improvement.
