SUMMARY:
Heavy Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Potchefstroom has a vacancy for a CNC Programmer & Setter for both Milling and Lathe machines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications / Requirements:
Grade 12 (a technical qualification would be beneficial
Certificate or diploma in engineering will be advantageous
Valid driving license code 08
A valid Turner Certificate/Fitter and turner experience will be advantageous
Fluent in Afrikaans & English

Responsibilities:
CNC Machines: Milling and Lathe machines
Applying Fanuk, Mazak and Haas programming and operating experience will be advantageous
Set-up and operate CNC machines according to specifications
Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
Oversee the machines while they execute tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
Ability to read and understand machines and drawings
Enforcement of quality procedures and processes
Managing and measuring instruments and hand tools
Ensure machines are maintained and in a good, safe operational condition
