SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications;
Grade 12 with mathematics
CNC Certifications will be an added advantage

Experience and Other Requirements;
At least 1-year of solid experience on CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. Preferred experience on Siemens and Fanuc
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Willing to work overtime if and when required to do so

Duties;
Assisting in set up and initiate manufacturing processes
Machining of all types of materials to achieve complete and accurate parts within the expected timeframe
Deburr, clean, and inspect machines as required
Complete-time and tallies as required
Detect and report faulty operations, defective material, and any unusual or unsafe conditions
Maintain proper application of oil and lubricants to equipment
Monitor and record production and quality data and recognise and respond to error conditions, malfunctions, and faults
Housekeeping
Assist in other sections as and when required by Supervisors and Management, such as the grinding and forging department
