Knowledge & Skills required
Have a good understanding of different types of CNC operations (Function).
Ensure that tools are manufactured/machine within company meet Quality Standards and /or according to relevant works instruction.
Must be able to write small programmes within the controller, be able to set up jobs on machine independently, able to read and analyse 3D and 2D drawings
Clear understanding of machine speed and feed.
Participate actively in departmental team meetings, prioritize work allocated for machining.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience Required
Grade 12 / N3 and N6 Certificate in Engineering studies / Mechanical Engineering
Qualified in Trade Certificate Tool, Jigs and Die making
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Minimum 3 years Toolroom experience
